Terms & Conditions

Registration/Attendance and Collection

On arrival at either Club your child/young person’s attendance must be registered. If for any

your child/young person is not going to be at the Club for a booked session, please inform

the manager or playworker on the mobile telephone number 07834 958698 or 07956

970519 a week in advance.

To collect your child/young person, you will need to be at the KS2 playground gate at 6.30pm

prompt. A member of staff will open the gates. Walk up the playground and wait by the last

door where a member of staff will bring your child/young person. If you have to collect your

child/young person earlier, please call one of the numbers given above.

Your child/young person is only permitted to leave the club with a ‘named contact’ (as

disclosed by you on the registration form). If an unauthorised person arrives to collect your

child/young person, they will not be permitted to leave until we have made contact with you

or one of the ‘named contacts’. No child/young person under the age of 16 is permitted to

collect your child/young person unless we have written permission from you, the

parents/carers.

Your child/young person must be collected by 6.30pm prompt, when the Club closes. A late

collection fee of £10 will be payable if your child/young person is collected after 6.30pm and

before 7.00pm. After that time the cost will be £10 for every 15 minutes, or part thereof.

These charges reflect the costs incurred to keep the school open and staffed. You will be

asked to sign a late collection sheet. This charge may apply even if a phone call notifying the

club of late arrival has been made. Persistent lateness may result in your child/young person

losing their place at the Club. Persistent lateness is deemed as 3 times during a month.

Change of Sessions

If, at any stage, you intend to give up any sessions, or your child/young person’s place at

Active Play, we require at least one weeks’ notice and confirmation of the date of the change

in writing via email. Please also be aware that once we have received your email, we will be

offering the place to other child/young person on our waiting list!

Fees and Payments

The Club recognises that childcare can be costly, so we encourage eligible parents or carers

to claim ‘Direct Payment’ which can be used to pay towards these sessions at Active Play.

Fees are payable at least a week in advance. Your child/young person will not be admitted

otherwise. We do not accept cash at the club. Payments may be made by debit cards on our

online portal or by Bank Transfer. Your child/young person’s name must be used as reference

when paying by Bank Transfer.
